Boar's Rock Beer

Is there anything surprising about a winery producing a beer?

Not in our book.

After all, at the end of the day, most winemakers secretly enjoy nothing quite so much as a good, long, cold, refreshing beer. Especially if it's got a bit of grunt.

Which is kind of how our very own Boar's Rock Lager came to be.

But it also allowed us to put ourselves in our clients' shoes by using the services of a small brewery to make the beer for us.

What we've got out of the experience is invaluable in helping us service our own clients better.

But it's also provided us with a nice, crisp, thirst-crushing Bavarian-style lager.

While Boar's Rock Lager has plenty of flavour, it's not one of those heavy or overpowering brews.

More the kind of beer you can happily tuck into before dinner because it won't fill you up or spoil the enjoyment of the wine that will surely follow (preferably one made right here at Boar's Rock).

Of course, the other great thing in its favour is you won't find it everywhere.

In fact, you won't find it anywhere except at Boar's Rock (available by mail-order) or at a handful of restaurants on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.
